Phillip Drane serves as the editor and occasional writer at Aurora Press, where his passion for science and literature comes together in every piece he oversees. With a degree in English and Creative Writing, he ensures that the content published is both clear and compelling.

Outside of The Aurora Press, Phillip works as a freelance writer, copyeditor, and science journalist, taking on projects that further refine his craft and expand his professional horizons.

 

In his spare time, he enjoys exploring inventive ways to write about himself in the third person—often with a wry nod to the possibility that AI might one day rival his creative flair.

Annabelle Bennett holds an MA in Chemistry and is pursuing her PhD in the same field.

 

Her work blends scientific inquiry with a love for storytelling. At The Aurora Press, she transforms complex chemical concepts into compelling narratives, making intricate topics accessible and engaging. Whether drawing parallels between molecular reactions and the craft of storytelling or weaving scientific precision into prose, her writing highlights the natural synergy between science and literature.

 

Outside the lab, she enjoys tabletop gaming and exploring nature—pastimes that fuel both her curiosity and creativity.

At The Aurora Press, he writes about software, computing, and psychology, drawing on his technical background and academic insight to explain complex ideas in a clear and accessible way.
